Gage Smith, owner/operator of Nevada Blue Outdoor Adventures is a native Nevadan. Born in Reno, he has lived in northern Nevada his entire life.
Coming to Elko in 1988, Gage taught school in the Elko County School District for nearly 20 years. Previous to that, he was a teacher in the Douglas County School District (Minden, NV) for 8 years. Gage retired from teaching in June of 2006 to devote more time to his new business.
Gage has spent countless hours exploring and researching history of the state of Nevada. Even as a child, he accompanied his father; noted author Raymond Smith, on many outdoor adventures in the state. Darn few ghost towns in Nevada have not seen Gage's boots.

Recreation is an important facet of life in Northeast Nevada. Gage Smith enjoys it all. Come to Wildhorse and spend a weekend or more. You too can enjoy the best Nevada has to offer.
