Fishing Report/Current Events
-28-10 Ice is finally off the reservoir. I have no real report as to what is happening on the lake. Nobody was fishing during the past few weeks because of unsafe ice conditions and...the weather was just basically crappy! I will update soon when I know something. Fishing should improve with warming water and the spawn. This is a good time to get your gear in working order. My boat motor is in Mountain Home getting a service right now. Although rowing is OK, I'd much rather jerk on the rope and zip across the lake to my favorite fishing area.
5-28-10 Good morning world, what a lovely day...no wait a minute...what is that...Snow? Yes my friends, an inch on the ground this morning and still coming down. Every 10th flake is a drop so it is close to rain. Memorial Day weekend...you gotta love it. I still have the tackle box open this weekend if you don't want to freeze your..your..(Fill in the blank) off and still have a chance to fish. Last week's guests did OK in spite of the wind and snow of that weekend. The usual suspects from the bank, worms, power bait and corn. One of the fish they caught they found to be full of corn. No report on boaters as it was just too windy last weekend.
